what causes pop eye???

i just asked the same question earlier. no responses yet. google pop eye fish diseases a lot of info comes up. different things can cause it.

Pop eye I believe is caused by bacteria infection. You need to treat it with particular antibiotics. Try posting this in the fish disease and health forum...

It's also thought the cause in some fish may be hormonal. I've had issues with it a few times in my fishkeeping years. In all cases, it resolved itself without any action, other than water changes, on my part.
