hi there i got a nirate filter one that you feed every week or so with suger and water. and was working fine till i put to much suger in it and all my water went cloudy and the next day all my fish were dead i have a 6 in malaui eyebiter male nise fish .so i did a 50% water and it is ok now but not sure what to put in . its a 200L thanks

Thats what I am wondering? Well you probably have run into the cycling problem. Type in cycling in the search bar and there is tons of info on how to get it correct. There are many ways to do it but I personally like the cocktail shrimp and Bio-Spira method. Gets it goin in about 1 week and a half.

The filter thing sounds like it might involve plants. Your 200 liter tank can hold just about any cichlid that doesn't grow bigger than 10 inches.
