I need advice as to what color light I should use on my night fishing rig. I was thinking about green but do any of you guys know a specific color that attracts baitfish?
What color are bait most attracted to?

Small bait fish which will bring in the big browns and then the browns will see my shiner swimming near and they won't be able to resist. I am going tonight to try a green light and see how it works.
I've heard that red is the most visible color underwater... As for at night, they do have hooks/rigs that are made of a luminescent material, that when heated, (or placed next to a lantern for 15-20 sec) will glow in the dark. That may work well too.
