What color substrate

What color would bring out the colors of a Geophagus more??Light or dark colored substrate?

dark imo, i prefer to use natural orange as its the best of both as far as colour.

I always go with natural, red flint I believe it`s called. Medium darkness that looks like the bottom of the Northern Michigan trout streams I grew up fishing.
