My 4 months old 8-9" red aro is still not eating. It has been two weeks now. It used to be eating like a pig, and suddenly stopped touching her food. These past few days she has been breathing heavily. I have a sponge filter that supplies enough oxygen. She is the only one in the tank. I am routinely doing water changes 40% a week with aged water. Water quality is good, im using a Resun EF-1600U canister filter which is working fine. What could be the issue here? I didn't changed anything in the tank. I already added salt. Help please:confused:

need more info, tank size, substrate, what are you feeding it, last time you did maintenance on your filter, water temp? Don't like the fact that it's breathing heavy.

I think she has gill problems (after reading the diseases of arowana sticky). Tank size is 150g, bare tank, no tankmates, and last maintenance on filter was on December. Ive been feeding her sw and mp.

Have you tested your water? Sounds like the nitrogen cycle is out of whack if it's breathing heavily and has stopped eating.

all of the above.

How is the current in the tank?
