These bass havent been eating almost 2 weeks now. They were eating pellets beforehand. Their fins seem a little torn. I did feed the goldfish like 3 weeks ago but I've never had a problem from the place I get them from. All water parameters are fine. I do quite frequent water changes. 20190923_082729.jpg20190923_082314.jpg20190923_082225.jpg20190923_081913.jpg20190923_081713.jpg

These guys over 10"? They'll survive 1 month or more without eating. The torn fins are likely due to being spooked in a new tank. Keep the light above the tank off until they start to eat regularly.

I've always had them In this tank. I grew these guys from 1-2 inches and now they are around 10 -11 inches. This is something that popped up in the last 2 or 3 weeks. They were doing fine for so long. If they caught internal parasites would that stop them from eating?

Yes internal parasites would stop them from eating but so will getting exposed to live food that they like more than pellets.

They do this weird spitting/coughing thing when I put the goldfish in as a test last night but wouldnt eat any. I was really suprised when they wouldnt even eat the goldfish

Stop feeding them goldfish
I dont really. Maybe twice in the last 6 months. I wanted to see if they would eat anything that's why I did recently. And a month ago I did give it to them as a treat but I'm worried I gave them Ips. I also never have seen them have these weird white markings by their face. I think they are just losing color because they havent eaten/'stressed a bit.

Ah... I wouldnt worry about feeding them so much then right now... as the uneaten food will just spoil the water if u miss cleaning some of it up... they can go a long time without food... have u changed anything in the tank lately?
