Need your opinions on what could have caused this?
I yesterday I lost 3 asian arowanas
here's what happened.
they were about 7 - 8 inches in a 4x1.5 gallon tank.
I've had them for a few months already in that tank.
what changed was 3-4 days ago i got some plants from a friend. it came from a pond. I dumped some into my tank. 2 days later 1 of my aros developed cloudy eye. what i did was changed 30-40 5 water with water conditioner and rock salt. a day later i changed 20% water again. but before that i fed them a few pieces superworm
after the water change 1 of my aros was belly up after a few hours. it was the one without cloudy eye. after that my 2 remaining aros were covered with white stuff like fungus. but the spread was so fast? I added melafix that night. but already had given up since the spread was so fast
io just went to sleep whem i woke up both my aros were aldso dead
my tanks filtration was with a canister filter. containing filter wool, lots of ceramic rings.
I didn;'t have any test kits
should have had 1 but wasn't able to buy 1 since i was panicking
