I am currently re-enforcing and planning my 150G bowfront layout. Currently I have 2 Eheim Pro II filters available. I was hoping to upgrade to 2 FX5s in the future. And I was planning on putting the FX5s under the stand. Then Have the overflows from the main tank run into a smaller tank underneath and have the fx5s pump the water back into the show tank.
With the 2 FX5s I'll only be able to put a 20H under the stand. And that's only leaving me 4" of space between the top of the 20 and the bottom of the stand. Or I could go with a 15G and have a little more working room. I was hoping to breed something under their that would be beneficial to my Oscars and Cichlids As well as utilize the space to hide my heaters, and keep an Emperor 400 Cycled at all times.
ATM I only have two Os, But was planning on introducing maybe a JD, or a RD when I introduce the Os to the new tank. Figure move them all in at once and see how it goes.
Do you guys have any suggestions of what would do well in a 15-20 tank that would be easy to breed in the same water qualities as an O?
Or, maybe just using the 2 Eheim Pro II and use a standard 30 or 33 long under their.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
