what could I do with this

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my main concern is durability. It's flexible but apprently is supposed to be for breeding koi and goldfish. I don't see why I couldn't turn it into a permanent pond

I think with pond liner you'd be fine. The Rays and Aro aren't going to cause any structural damage to the frame like a large catfish could. I would just worry about the stingers on the rays puncturing that lightweight material that it comes with

yeah, thanks a lot

You could put anything in there but if it were me I would not use long term. Would be nice for temporary reasons like tank moving

I actually have the 100 gallon version of this. I bought it for a quarantine or water holding reservoir for water changes, and soon it'll be my spot for growing duckweed.

The only thing holding it up is vertical bars, an until I filled it with water it didn't even hold shape. If you push on a side you can certainly move it. A large fish would easily be able to knock the walls down, not sure how hard an aro or ray would try though.

Not sure about long term, mine is only 4 months old, but it certainly won't last a decade.

For a cheap pond though throw on a filter and you'd be set, but just be careful and don't put anything feisty in there.
