she is in my 10 gal and i wanted to just give her one tankmate.

wat should it be? amphibian? fish? invert?

To be clear is it an dwarf african frog(Hymenochirus boettgeri) or the african clawed frog(Xenopus laevis)? If it's the first one then you could put small fish like guppies but nothing to big or boistrous. If it's the second then nothing because 10 gallons is too small to keep fish big enough to be housed with them. Anything else would be eaten. But if you're interested mild fish like oscars, severums, large, angels, pictus cats, festivums, kissing gouramis, opaline gouramis, and the list goes on. Basically anythign to big to be eatin.

she's definatly an african clawed frog.

really not even something that stays at the surface?

I just can't think of a fish that would be too big to not be eaten, yet small enough to fit in that size tank.

how big is the frog now? basically if its to big to fit in its mouth it should be ok. if itsjust a little guy then some smaller fish woud work. as it grows anything it can fit in its mouth is a goner eventually. like the other person said with the 10 gallon tank you need appropriate size fish.

well she is full grown. idk i just think they must be just one thing i could put in there. like one fish or one Axolotl or something. the tank is over filtered so nitrates isnt a problem.

full grown? so its like softball size or bigger? you should have him in a bigger tank than a 10 gallon.
