When I got this Rainbowfish it had this wond on its side now it's two months later and it still looks the same what could it be

Looks like somebody took a chunk out of it, how does the fish behave?

I’d suggest putting methylene blue on the wound for a week then apply a bio bandage on it. Keep the water clean. Other tankamtes? Was it from a pond?

The fish is acting normal its eating growing active and color is fine
