Trout Island
I recently bought a good size peacock around 12-14 inches. I got hooked up because it had a spinal defect( tail bends a bit to the right) and it was only 25 bucks:headbang2 . So I put it in the tank with two other peacocks that were about an inch or two smaller. Now the smallest of the bunch is I believe some kind or orino. The other is I believe a mono and is very very aggressive. I was told that the mono has a hump on top of the head because its a dominant male. So my newest addition looks like a ocellaris. For the first week it wouldnt move or eat anything. I tried feeding various foods. My others devour frozen smelt chunks. I was a little worried a few days ago and went out and bought feeders so maybe it would it that. It worked to say the least. However, now the dominant mono is attacking the other two. Did the live prey release a demon? It couldnt have been much different from the meat they were already eating could it? Any suggestions and comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't think the feeders suddenly made him aggressive.

I think now that the new addition has now come out and started to swim around and eat...the dominant male feels threatened and is claiming back what was his tank.

Thats all I can think of what it could be anyway....he may calm down and everything could be fine.
