What did I pick up??!

Went to buy another cuban cichlid from my LFS, but whatever I picked up doesn't look like a cuban though it was in the same tank from where I had picked up my earlier cubans.
The fins have a bluish green tinge, the head part looks broader and the markings on the body look quite different.... one big spot on the flank alongwith vertical stripes and smaller dots (not spots) all over. The very distinct markings on the face as of a cuban is also not there. I'm putting up a pic, but the quality is such a crap one I don't think it'll help much!
The right hand pics are of my cuban... the left ones are the unknown fish. Put up together for comparison.

p.s: plz excuse the pic quality... such a crap one almost made me to not post the thread... but I really want to know!

juvenile now thus the green coloration
color will change as they grow and the pattern will get much more defined too
a little tempermental fish will attack anything
