So I've got a **** ton of algae in my SW tank (It's my first SW tank ever, so it's a learning experience). I have my guesses as to what kinds they are, I just don't really know how to treat them.

This red algae is soft to the touch and doesn't dissolve when you touch it.

The coral in this picture is Frogspawn. Two of the heads have retracted and I believe have died off. The other two aren't coming out all of the way.

Then I think the black algae here is turf algae, I'm just not too sure...

P.S. I am also using a reef safe algae killer and then a phosphate remover.

My water params are:
pH: 8.3
Temp: 80
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20
Calcium: 500
KH: 8.5-9
Phosphate: My reef kit came with two calcium tests instead of the phosphate test :(

looks like you have cyano, hair, and black algae going on.

You need to get phosphates down and run carbon and get nutreints down ..
I would go lights out for 3 days.. then cut feeding down to every other day. AND get about 2 astrea snails per gallon of water in your tank to tackle that hair algae.. TRUST me. those little astrea snails do the job if you overload your tank with them.
Cheepest way to remove hair algae..

Astrea snails are good...I would nix the lights out though unless your having a hostile take over. If its pretty much stagnant I would find the source of my phosphates and nitrates.

What are the parameters of the h2o going into your tank? Is your tap water high in nitrates and phosphates? If so...with numbers like these I would have to recommend rodi. If not, I recommend buying some astrea/couple turbo snails and maybe a lawnmower blenny depending on tank size.

I'm using RO/DI water that my LFS premixes the salt in, so I buy the water at 1.024 and it doesn't have any Phosphates or anything in it.

I used to have a Lawnmower Blenny, but I'm pretty sure it died. I realize that the algae could be from that, but the snails and hermits I have in there now picked it dry and I never had a spike in my Ammonia. Also, the algae didn't start until recently, so I'm pretty sure if the dead Blenny had anything to do with the algae, it was a very minor part.

Blow the alage off the rocks, and siphon it out, then add fresh clean water when done, clean all filter media, feed everyother day, if light bulbs are old, replace them, add powerheads if you dont have any. or add more flow in dead areas if you do have powerheads.
