well first off your tank looks really cloudy.
need a bit of info for anyone to help you
Tank size
how long has it been up
is it cycled?
filtration?
tank mates
have you added new fish lately other than him?
what do your water tests read at?
what is your cleaning schedule?
give us the answers to those and we might be able to help you!

The tank is cloudy as I just put some new gravel in (that i did clean thoroughly, but made the water murky)
tank size is 3ft though I'll be moving him to a 5ft when he gets a little bigger
no tank mates as he would most likely attack anything i put in with him
tank has an internal filter & a 50w heater
only put him in last week but have replaced 20% of the water since
water was perfectly clear up until about 20 minutes ago when i put the gravel in
