Yeah its a 4ft 70g, i'm guessing you are talking about Convicts haha
12" kapampa gibberosa, actually. Had him in a display tank at my wife's shop. There was a fire that burned 3 buildings to the ground, including the one with her shop. After some hours, there was an interval where they had the fire under control briefly and I was able to run in and rescue the fish. I was in there only minutes, no time to get the tank, too dangerous in there. The water was dark brown with a bunch of debris in it, wood, ceiling tiles, etc. You couldn't see the fish. Afterwards I had to improvise where the extra fish went and Moose, the kapampa, went in with the rotkeil. She didn't like him, chased him around. Some observation and fish psychology and I surmised she didn't like the dark bars, took them as a sort of affront or insult. I used a clear divider for a month or so to let them get used to each other. Wasn't hard to tell, you could see the difference in behavior. After that they were fine until I was able to trade some fish and make room to get the rotkeil's tank back to normal. I had other tanks, tubs, etc., but all were full of other fish, growouts, and fry, so I had to sell/trade some to make a better spot for Moose, the kapampa.
So that's the story. Moose was something of a local celebrity, to the extent they announced on local radio that he was okay. This was maybe 5 years ago. He's still alive and well and going on 14 years old now.
