What do I do with all this food?

I bought two pounds of HBH Oscar Show and none of my fish will eat it.

I tried starving them for a day and they still just spit it out. Should I keep trying with this food or just toss it (and the $ I spent on it) in the the trash?

All in all, I'm just not having any luck feeding "bulk" food. I've tried worm sticks, veggie sticks, Ken's soft and moist with krill, and now the HBH. The only prepared food my fish touch is Hakari or NLS(which gets expensive.) I bet I've spent about $50 (probably more with the shipping) on food my fish will not eat.

Does anyone out there feed bulk foods? What are they? Did your fish take to it right away?

I would just sell it to someone who's fish does eat it...Take a bit of a loss on it and call it a day.....

Crap happens in this hobby and money shouldn't limit us.....

Try starving him for MUCH longer! If he is eating and then spitting it out you are half way there.

wait about 3-4 days, feed small amount of the food, you may try soaking it well before you put it in, it could just be 2 hard

If all the Ideas above fail Make your own Food lol. I think you Can make like 2lbs for like 20$ and it is full of Protein

I buy bulk HBH and Azoo pellets. I've never had an issue with the fish eating it.

adams right the main thing in it is beef heart and that costs pennies as is mostly goes to the bin .
