Hey guys, I got two convicts three weeks ago to put in my 20. I swear the one looked just like a dude, anyway, they spawned and I have 60-70 eggs and should hatch tomorrow. I really don't want baby cons. Any suggestions? the guy at the lfs said to use them as feeders but I hate to use baby cichlids as feeders. Wadda you think? please respond.

if you don't want the hassle of growing them to use as feeders just siphon out the eggs. problem solved.
Lots will hatch. Well not as much as the big fish who make 1000+
But they make babies constantly, so it adds up pretty quick.
I ignore mine and about 30-50 a batch make it to fully fish size.
You must decide what to do, feed 'em or kill 'em or flush 'em.

You won't be able to make ANY money off of them, they take too long to grow out. Even at 2" nobody wants to give you more than $.10 for them.
