My flowerhorn recently got a bad case of ich. He was first showed signs of the spots on Saturday and it got worse very quickly. Now he is super stressed and he just hangs out in the corner with his head near the top. He won't eat anything. I raised the temperature to 86 and put in salt but what else can I do? Thanks everyone

You already did the best thing you could do heat and salt except the heat should be above 88. Also make sure you have some sort of bubbler or something to agitate the surface of the water. Warmer water is less oxygenated.

Warm temp and aquarium salt works for me everytime. I put about one tablespoon of salt per 5 gallon and wait a few days. The ich will become worse which is good because that means it is nearing it's end of life. A few days later the ich will disappear from your fish. You can then change water and add more salt in.
