what do i feed baby gars??? (my first post)

I have two baby gars. One is one inch long and one is two inches long. I caught them in a net. Do they count as monster fish? I've seen some big gars in the lake i found them in. I AM WONDERING WHAT TO FEED THEM! Please reply any advice!
