What do I have??? Mussels???

So it looks like I had some hitch hikers on my last batch of plants. At first I thought they were snail eggs but they don't move. When I looked closer they appear to be small mussels. I am concern as they are spreading

A few thousand and I could have a meal..... Wonder how big they will get

Mussels usually anchor themselves with visible threads. Could be clam shrimp.
