Looking to do a Hydor 300w external heater on a Fx5. What tools and parts will I need to make this work?

Installation Instructions:
Install by cutting the outlet tube of the external filter, and by connecting the two parts of the tube onto both sides of the heater. If the external filter is already installed, it is important to shut off the valve taps and empty out all the water before cutting the outlet tubing. When finished, reactivate the aquarium's water circulation and connect the heater into the power source. After the first 24 hours of operation, we recommend that you check to make sure all connections are tight and leak-free.

I briefly looked for this but didn't find it... There will be a "max flow rate" for this item. Not only will this be important in regards to the function of the heater, but the higher the flow rate the higher the pressures inside the unit will be. Naturally everything has it's limits and if too much pressure is put into the unit it will leak.

I suggest you find out the max flow rates on this unit before using it on such a large filter, at at the very least look for others who have experience doing so long term and ask about leaking issues.
