ok i want to build a new plywood tank that is 72 x 20 x 21 around 120 gallons. this will be the fish tank i will be building. i want it to have a stand too. if u guys could help me with layout of wood? how to build it? and what i need that would really help!!!:):):) Thanks Jon

There are plywood build threads, all over the DIY section. Use the search. What do you have at the moment, and have you ever built a tank before? BTW it is 130 gallons.

i dont think it will be worth it.. would be better to find a 150 gal glass tank for around $150 ... the mats and everything are going to cost you about the same for a tank smaller then 250 gal IMO .. but there are a bunch of us building them right now..

what kind of skills in building things do you have? tools? waterproofing? its not an easy thing to do if you dont have some building experience

my dad is an engineer and i no it will cost more but we wanted a summer project its 130 gallons 100% full but 117.99 gallons at 90% full so around 120 gallons

if you build, build big. why not build a 300 gallon.... similar efforts needed in building a smaller plywood tank, so why not go for the glory of a 300?

cant affort the water changes i live in town dont have a well but i will some day i wanted to start small to make sure i do it right

It is still a 130. Do you have any supplies for this yet?
