hey everyone! jst wanted to knw wat u guys feed ur oscars?
mine are small im feeding them hikari pellets and small pieces of fish

and how fast did your oscar grow?

feed hikari cichlid BIO gold+ several times a day. give them treats of freeze dried krill (hikari), frozen blood worms (hikari), broken pieces of algae wafers, and frozen beef heart.

resist the temptation to feed anything alive to your oscar. hexamita is an extremely contagious and common intestinal bacterial infection. it will destroy your fish's ability to absorb nutrients and lead to HITH disease, even after the infection is treated. the damage is irreversible.

Expect your fish to grow about an inch per month, an average, for the first year. Take good care of him, and your fish will be over a foot long by his first birthday!

Mine grew and grow one inch a month until they are a year old.
Then growth slowed down lenghtwise, but they keep getting fatter.
