I was thinking about getting 2 or 3 rays for a 240G (8x2x2) wall tank i want to do and was just wondering what would be good to keep with them and what ray would best suite my tank?

tops maybe 300 a ray but i would like to spend less lol

then i would recommend a motorro BUT first go out and buy "Freshwater Stingrays" by Dr. Richard Ross (dont worry its only $10)

Geophagus and parrot cichlids are cool. IMO.

Motoros would get too big too fast IMO for a 2' width tank, stick with the smaller species. Retics are probably the ones you will be able to source.

Any geo species, severums, a shoal of silver dollars, bichirs.... the list is pretty long for tankmates. Have a search round and see what others are keeping for ideas

to be technical there is no real ray for that tank for life.... retics are not the hardiest of rays...
