What do you dislike/hate in a Flowerhorn?

Hi Hybrid/Flowerhorn lovers, Like the title states, post what you dislike in a Flowerhorn. I'll start.


I dislike Shortbody(killin like) Flowerhorns..


(Lets try to keep this as civil as possible)

Shortbodies, faders, Giant tumor koks
Are my dislikes

kirin,killin, shortbodies all those deformed ones and that they very easily get hexamita.

giant tumor koks, fake looking flowerhorn (e.g too much colour) and short body!

The unknown genetic potential that steers me away pretty effectively.

1. Kamfas too heavy on the Vieja
2. Deformed faces (ie sunken in face)
3. Heart/Love (cut off tails)
4. Minimal pearling. I like either no pearling or heavy pearling.

Very true, out of a batch of fry you could get all handful of great ones or maybe one or two. Playing russian roulette with fish.

Slow growers, tumor koks, too small koks, never enough tank space, ugly females, shipping charges, and the wait until they reach full size.
