I always forget that i do water changes and the end result is always a couple of gallons in the carpet . Has that happened to you and whats the best way of cleaning up for you? :swear:

Aquarium spills in my 200g occur in my carpeted room. What I do is open the windows and let the room air out during the day. After a couple days it usually evaporates out..

i have tile basement floor
werd

lol wes

place fans around the area to help it dry faster if a wet dry vac around use it quickly
When she busted my tank her son took the dry vac big bastard one to. And filled it like 3 or 4 times sucking up the watter from the 150.

You dont try to use towels to get the water out of the carpet?

I use towels and a chamois by the way.

Zach - you dont have to rub it in tile guy.

with carpit i learned a trick at housepartys

put paper towel down on the spot and stomp on it
get a new peice and do it again
do this untill its dry

i bet it works

Works but kinda expensive and useless if you spilled like 3 gallons. LOL
i use towels.. about 2-3 until theyre heavier than a book and then i use a chamois cloth. But sometimes ( ok a lot of times ) i miss spots and the room starts to stink!
