What do you do with your "Casulties"

What do you do with your dead fish. I know some of you monster keepers bag them and keep them in the freezer, but my wife wouldn't ever consider that. I always used to flush them for a "burial at sea" but after what happened to Bin Laden that doesn't seem fair to do anymore. I mean come on, my little fishies didn't do anything wrong.

I actually bury my dead fish in an area of my yard under a tree.

I have put them in the freezer until trash day. Warm weather, a dead fish, and a few days in the trash tote is not a good combination.

I have heard of guys feeding dead fish to their large predator fish. I always thought that was insane and fairly idiotic.

My wolf was to big for the pooper, and i thought that wasn't right, and the GF didnt want him in the freezer either so he went to the holy dumpster lol.

Depends on why it died.

If it's old I'll feed it to the predator tank. If it was sick, I'll add it to my compost bin in the backyard. I don't need one of my larger fish getting sick from eating a another fish with parasites. I have no moral problem with feeding to my other fish of course, I would rather make use of a dead fish than waste it by throwing it out.

I have 3 arowanas in my freezer. Will bury as soon as i have a house of my own =P

My neighbor still doesn't understand how his bulldog keeps finding tropical fish in his yard...

But if they are small enough they get the Bin Laden treatment. And I hope they shoot him for me again when they get there.

It doesn't happen very often, but when I do lose a fish, I bury them in the flower garden in the back yard. I never saw the sense in throwing a dead fish in the dumpster. The flowers love them...Kinda like the cycle of life .
