I was at Petsmart today, looking over their live food selection and decided to try some meal worms. I like to give my guys some treats in addition to their staple of NLS/Hikari/Dainichi. It got me wondering what everyone feeds their fish in addition to (or in lieu of) a dietary staple (prepared pellet/flake). I realize the answers will vary based on type of cichlid, the poll allows for multiple choices.
What do you feed your CA/SA cichlids?

i use to feed cheap pellets from kens fish then switched to nls quite awile back. i notice no difference at all. krill and shrimp are mixed in a few times a week.
My fish get Omega One cichlid pellets as a staple along with Algae wafers. For freeze dried they get tubifex worms. For live its earthworms, nightcrawlers, and crickets.
I feed everything on your list except for live feeders. Although, I must admit I've thrown a few trouble maker serpaes in the big tank from time to time......

Mine get a varied diet of flakes, pellets, frozen bloodworms, peas/romaine lettuce, and occasionally live crickets.
Try some NLS for a change...I can't vote for anything.. All my fish get to eat is NLS, NLS and more NLS.
