what do you feed your CK

i hear different thigs

some say ox heart is good
some say live fod is good but is expensive.

i am thinking of feeding shrimp - but salt water shrimp from the supermarket we dont have freshwater shirmp here.

is this bad?

shall i force them to eat pellets?
how easy is that?

or how bout beef? or a beef mix used for discus?

Carnivore Sticks, Freeze-Dried Shrimp, and Feeders from time to time.

my favorite right now is the hikari blocks of frozen mysis shrimp. my fish loves it and its waaay less messy than frozen brine. the peices of shrimp are a good size so they sink to the bottom of the tank.

i stop getting feeders when my fish got sick.

my silvers wont eat nothing but live food. the goldens are hikari eaters though woo =)

My Clown Knife used to eat Algae wafers,Hikari carnivore pellets,Blood worm etc when he was small, BUT now he is around the 22inch mark,he only eats LARGE KING PRAWNS from the supermarket. Costs alot of £££££ lol

Well I have two CK, and One of them thinks he is a Oscar and will eat anything, and I mean Anything. But my other Ck was a hard head when it came to trying new food, but now both seem to eat Sinking Pellets that was first only for my Sting Rays. Once I saw the CK's give them A try, I cut back on the amount of frozen food I was putting in the Tank. But if there Quick enough they get frozen shrimp or Fish that my Arrowana eats once in a while.
