lol well yours yes too small but i just feel that comets arent safe bad exp with them but people here feed them krill, shrimp pellets etc give it some time others will chime in

I feed mine Hikari Food Sticks, Market Shrimp, White Bait and feeders (african cichlids) on occasion..

Cut fresh fish filets are good as well. I use whatever is cheap at the market. Sometimes fresh tilapia filets, sometimes market shrimp, maybe even catfish filets. Just cut it into pieces small enough for him to eat and hopefully he will eat it! If hes been on live all his life it might take some time to get him to take prepared food. Just make sure you get any uneaten bits out of the tank as soon as possible, it will foul the water pretty fast. But if you can get him to eat high quality pellets or food sticks, thats the ticket.

the cheapest for me is, Market shrimp and bio gold.

I'm doing the same thing...mine actually ate block of blood worms the other night but then spit them out...they haven't eaten for about 3 days so I'm going to try some shrimp. I'll let you know how it goes
