what do you feed your snakehead?

im having bother geting my snake head to feed he used to take between 4-7 small prawns every day now he will only eat at most 2-4 what advice can you give me!

Young snakeheads need feeding on a daily basis while they are growing, but once they get to about 16" two feeds a week will do fine. i could go on holiday and a mate would pop round onece throw in 2 roach bought from the tackle shop for pike fishing job done. Do you just fed prawns? if so try changing it round a bit when my one was small he loved large earthworms (dont over do this) also mussels.

i feed mine whitebait,prawn,cockle,earthworms and occasionly live river shrimp and he/she get's fed now every other day but it depends on the size of the SH,when they are around 1/2 to 2 thirds grown 2-3 feeds a week should be fine
