what do you feed?

i don't know too much about crayfish, i got one last week...i'm just wondering what everyone else feeds their crayfish. so far i've only seen mine eating algea wafers.

They eat anything and love bits of fish and earthworms.

i bought some guppies for mine. when i feed the guppies some tetramin, he eats some as well. my cray cant catch any of the guppies so i guess he's been living off the tetramin

My cray will eat whatever is laying on the bottom of the tank. He is a big fan of algae wafers.

thanks guys. mine seems to be hunting for danio's but is yet to catch one. he's still pretty much just feeding on algea wafers. he molted though, so that's good.

That is a good sign, i feed mine wafers and flake and i throw in a couple of worms now and then, mine have been breeding prity good also.
