What do you get if an electric blue acara breeds with a normal acara?

Probably the same as breeding a elbj with a jd but from reading from sites the electric blue acara is a different species than a normal blue acara

Hmm, does anyone know what species EBAs are? from reading I understood they are mostly likely normal blue acaras, but basically no one really knows. DO they breed true like Electric blue rams, or not like electric blue jack dempsey's?

And can anyone comment on their temperament? I kind of want one, but I already have a blue acara, and it is the most aggressive species in th tank, so I don't really want a pair taking over, but I'm not sure how two who aren't a pair would get along. I think my current acara is a male.

They breed true if you breed electric blue acara to electric blue acara. If you breed an electric blue acara to a normal blue acara you will get 100% normal-looking fry, but they will all carry recessive EB genes. Breeding two of these fish with recessive genes together will get you a percentage of EB fry.
