Over the rainbow
Because most of us guys in Amerca are in quarantine lol thought it would be fun to start a thread on this.

I know we all share love for fish, but out of curiosity what do you guys all do for a living (don't have to get too detailed) ? It's interesting to see how a hobby brings people of all different backgrounds together on a forum.

I'll start. I'm a very broke medical student who finds time for fish lol.

From what I can tell, if you're an introvert in the US nothing much has changed, still can get food delivered, most companies still delivering, amazon, etc.

Here? Everything shut down. No precooked food deliveries, all non essential businesses shutdown, in person and online. No take aways, no restaurants, no liquor store deliveries(OMG! I just found one online one doing deliveries, maybe there's hope!).

Oh, and I'm international application support for a postal organization. So, I'm essential, but I can work from home.

I'm in the recycling industry, mainly plastics, but we also take in what they call "co-mingled" domestic waste, (from people's recycling bins). No closing down for us during the coronavirus outbreak, it's work as usual.

A very welcome added bonus being in plastics recycling is the amount of stuff we get in that can be used in my hobby. Below is a picture I took in my back garden of various items I salvaged from work which went into my 360g fibreglass tank project last year.

Studying biology at University, hoping to work into botany, zoology or some mixture of it. Work first aid shifts for Uni rugby (get paid for that) and then volunteer at a botanical garden between some classes :D
