So since clearing some room in my tank i was thinking about adding something. The lfs suggested a jade goby. They said with frequent water changes it cn reach a size of 12-14 inches but a foot more likely but they will have alot of mass to them. The said that even though it doesnt have teeth it will probly pic on my wolf fish mainly due to the fact that my wolf isnt all that aggressive and he eats from my and just about everyday. He is very gentle. The jades they have are only 3 inches now so he will go in my 30 gallon for a while. My fiances father has one thats about 8 inches and thick.

Never seen a goby pick on anything. They mostly act like they are the only living things around. Don't know about wolf fish. Seems pretty comparable but jade gobies are more on the vegetarian side so it might require target feeding. As for aggression from the wolf, wolf owners will have to chime in on that.

I agee about the goby being a loner as my fiances fathers gets picked on by a gold sev. But i guess if annoyed they can be a pain. They said the goby would work just because they dont bother other fish but sometimes they can bully fish when big. My wolf is all of 8 or 9 inches and lives with a ck and small pike. The pike was sold so will be gone tomar and the ck minds his business and probly wont stay in the tank since i might sell him when bigger. I like fish that kinda sit around and you can form a bond with. My wolf knows when im gonna feed him and he comes right up and takes the worms from my hand, he doesnt thrash or bite visciously either. I keep him feed so he just lies around and doesnt mind the other fish
