Redid this tank today. I was planning on moving my Jag pair in here, but still a bit undecided? I don't know if I am going to keep this look because I want to use a driftwood them eventually in here. Just wanted to d something for the time being now that the Africans are out and I got all the rock out it was a nightmare to clean like that! Here is a link to show how it used to be set up for my Africans.

So my options are these:

-the Jag pair ( large size)
-a Dovii pair (medium size)
-Rainbow cichlids
-a mix of female Salvani maybe some loached and verious other smaller cichlids possibly grammodes
-A Lone Flowerhorn
-A Lone large Pike cichlid
-Cuban Pair (size medium)

interested to see what you all think? Probably will add a few more small rock and maybe another plant not sure. Tank is a 100 gallon show I know the pic is deceiving;)

New option:

Herichthys Sp. "Media Luna" Yellow ;) Pair

The tank looks good. I would go with Rainbow cichlids or like you said a mix of female Salvani maybe some loached and verious other smaller cichlids possibly grammodes.

I would stay away from the Parachromis genus if I were you, just might not give enough personal space for each fish. Grammodes, Salvini, Carpinte (Escondido :) ), ummm...... True GT,... Yeeeah theres more but my mind just totally went blank haha

Never mind haha its 100 gallons.. HAHA no kidding is the pic deceiving, You could do any Parachromis except the Dovii, which is just my advice, I dont want any trouble :)

Whats the footprint on that bad boy actually, that plays a much bigger part in what you can keep than gallons alone.

I would have to go measure it again to be sure maybe try that tomorrow. Yeah if it were Dovii. Than it would only be for a limited time
hard to make the choice though. Maybe I should just stick to the plan and out the Jags in there. My only deal with that is they breed so much, and there is sand like substright in there. Which can be a real pain when you have baby wiggles, and large big fish thrashing about excitedly as people pass by! The baby's can easily become berried alive.

I like the salvini and others idea

What about a pair of large Amphilophus

What are the dimmensions of the tank BTW ?
