so my SA community 55 gal tank isnt going too well.......

so since my lfs has exodons, i was thinking of dividing that tank in half with a piece of fitted glass and having my community on one side and a group of exodons on the other side..

then once my pond is done for my temensis that are currently in my 125 gal, dividing the 125 in two sections... one side would be 24" x 18" x 22" which is around 40 gallons... this side would be the exodons new home. and the other side would be 48" x 18" x 22" this would be my sa cichlids side....

so should i try or should i fly past the idea...

i really like and would like to have exodons its just that my parents won't let me get another tank

1 6" uaru, 4 5" geo. surinamensis, 2 3" satanoperca jurupari, and 2 5" angelfish.......

i was thinking dividing the tank could work because these cichlids don't swim constanly and it seems like they like one side of the tank more than the other

I'd pass on that idea. Half of a 55 is not large enough for all those fish. If you really want Exodons, I would get rid of your community and use the whole 55 for a large school of them.

i know exodons are known as scale eaters but would they be ok with plecos?

yes.
they will be fine with plecos.
