What do you guys think?

This stand isn't tubed though it's half. I deff want a metal stand I just didn't know if not being a full iron tube would be a problem. Seems like a lot of mixed reactions on this particular stand.

I see no issues with that stand. Only thing I would do is buy a few pieces of plate steel to put under each leg.

If I decide to go with this, I would for sure be doing that. Currently this will sit on concrete in my basement but someday when I move it hopefully will be going in a room on the 2nd level

On concrete I wouldn't worry about putting anything under the legs. This stand is probably far more stable than the garbage wood stands they sell that cost 3 times more.

Decisions decisions.

I don't know if it makes a huge difference, but I usually put a sheet of 7/8" painted plywood on top of an angle iron stand.

Checked it out at the store, looks decent. Lady that owns the place said she hasn't had any complaints. They are made by marineland. For what its worth to the post above they reccomended just the tank itself along the rim with nothing under it. My tank has braces on the bottom accross. The stand has 6 legs also.

looks fine to me, if its the one with six legs, have you ever seen a 5 ton axel stands for trucks, look flimsy as anything but work

It is the one with 6 legs on it
