Just wanting to see what kind of mixes everyone has. All male or male and female?

i have male and female in all my tanks but there are acouple ways to do it, some people do all male tanks so that dont have to deal with hybrids + males are normally the more colorful. but personally i think having acouple females in there lowers aggression + give the males a lil more entertainment lol :D

I have a tank with:
Acei x 9
Yellow Labs x 5
Red Zebra x 1

Males and females both.

My tank is mostly male since they are bigger, in most cases, and more colorful. My cyps leptosoma are all male since only males get the color, the choice was a no brainer unless someone is planning to breed them. I haven't had problem with aggression because I keep mild mannered cichlids. Aquascaping also helps a lot.

I believe to get the best color out of the males you have to put them with females.
Just like a pretty deskmate would boost my grades!!!:naughty:

boys and girls.

I have a 125 mixed African Tank with too many fish probably, but they seem alright. I only lost a few. I do have to admit though I do have my 2 small vics in it as well, but they do just fine. They are a mix of males and females, cause I have no clue to which are males and which are females. :grinno: And the sizes of the fish range from approximately 2-3 inches up to roughly 6-7 inches.
