What do all of you keep your polypterus tank's temperature at?

For juvies 82-84F for adult specimens 78-80F

Huh... maybe I should turn the heater down a bit. It usually stays around 82-84. Lately, on warmer days (my room is upstairs) it will reach 84-86.

I know it's not exactly neccessary to have it that high, but is it bad for them longterm?
