What do you know about Jurenese cats ???

My LFS just got a cute little 3" Jurenese catdish in. I can get him for $20.00 and he looks healthy as can be. How big do these guys actually get "realistic please" and whats their temperment and growth rate. Does anyone keep these with any other big cats ??? I'm probably gonna pass on him because i'm really looking for a planiceps, but he's pretty unique looking.. My gears are always turning

hi is it "Brachyplatystoma juruense" or know as " Zebra catfish" or ""False Tigrinus".?
if it is thats cheap!



I have seen so many sizes for these fish over the web and in books but roughly between 2-3 foot. The biggest I have seen was just over 2 but apparently they get bigger.

If you have a tank big enough to house a planiceps, than you definitely have room for a juruense
