what do you prefer to feed your gar

I feed my 17 " alligator gar very large guppies, large goldfish, and floating pellets. The pellets are more like a snack because it will eat them but is not satisfied with them and wants more food. It is even known to eat some large meal worms but prefers to eat 2-3 (5 " goldfish) per day. It is growning very fast with a average of 1-2 inches a week. this fish was about 6 inches long less then 2 months ago

I feed my three raw prawns/jumbo shrimp, frozen smelts, once a month they get a live mouse, i find the frozen seafood at the grocery store works great and has the most beneficial nutrients

My florida gar gets his daily baby snakeheads and about once every few days i feed him small pieces of sirloin steak(raw of course) that can fit into his mouth.

I know gars arent supposed to eat goldfish now but how do I get him to eat the shrimp he has had two days without fish and only shimp but he wont eat them not even when I wiggle them around at top.

i feed, worms, mice, pellots, feeders, sandcrabs and shrimp. i think my 2 will eat anything lol
