What do you think about adding a Red Tail to my teeth tank

I have 2 VATFS (7-7.5"), 1 9.5" spotted Gar and a hair away from buying a 6-8" Red Tail Payara from N-E-Cichlids. So far I've had my teeth-ers together for about 4 months and no fighting (the VATFS chase each other thou).

What do you think???????????

How hard is it to get them off live foods (Red Payara)?
 
i would definitly get one.
or some.
itd be a nice addition to the tank.
from what my own experience,they are the easiest to get off live.
although my current one wont take any dead food.(does strike at it sometimes though.)
my previous 2 redtails got onto live food in the first few days.

I had my redtail in with my vatf and redtail was around 7-8" and the vatf was a bit bigger.Mind you once I saw a long scratch on my vatf but I couldn't be sure it was the redtail.Good luck with it bro.

I currently have my red tail with a VATF, No problems yet. No problem getting them of live. especially if you have other fish in there that already take it. for them to compete and learn from.

They are beautiful fish when they colour up.
 
i'm not sure. i think one of the two species will get destroyed
 
alot eazyer to get off live foods then ATFS try it and see how it works out could add a very nice touch
