What do you think about this...

I have a 300 gallon commuter tank with a 20"+ Jardini, few gars, TSNxRTC and few birchirs. My freind is giving his Silver Aro around 20" away because he is changing his setup. His silver is about 20" but the silver is much skinner then my jar. I was planning to put him in but never try having other aro with my jar. Do you think this will work?

I just want to point out.. I have the jar for over seven year and He always been staying with other commuter fishs but just not any type of aro..

It seems like the general consensus here is that a Jar will beat up on any other aro in the tank.

i think it would work if you raised them together...buy a 300g rubbermaid type and put a huge cover over it lol

The only problem is, the silver and jar are seperate and are each 20" already. Adding them together now might not be a good idea.

You never know until you try....if you do try be sure to have spare tank big enough for the silver.
