So, I read a few posts in here and learned that it is best to keep ammonia as low as possible and how ceramic rings will do the job. I went to Jebo warehouse and was suggest to mix ammonia stone with the ceramic rings. I bought some ceramic ring and some ammonia stone. I just want to know if anyone in here have any experience with ammonia stone because I hardly see it being mention in here.
Thanks all

Once your bacteria are established and you are stocked correctly you won't see ammonia at all. As a quick fix the ammonia chips are okay, but you've got to figure out why you are seeing any ammonia at all in the first place to fix the problem.

I would say mu sump is not sufficient for 2 rays. I don't have enough ceramic rings in there. I am planning to use the ammonia stone as a quick fix and hope it will do the job in a long run. Do you know how long I have to replace it?

Only if and when you test positive for ammonia again. But I'd recommend upgrading the setup instead of slapping bandaids on it. What size tank?

the current tank is a typical 180 gal. i used to keep arowana and datnoid so the sump was sufficient for them. I am moving them to a 370 G indoor pond. The pond came with a place on top filter like any other koi filter. I doubt the existing media is sufficient. I am adding in more ceramic ring, filter pad, ammonia stone and plants to keep the water quality at it best. I am hoping that I can do one water change per week instead of every 3,4 days now. any suggestion on the plant?

Pothos is the standard. I'm trying out willow cuttings right now. Too soon for results but the willow looks happy!

What type of small fish I can keep with the ray that fast enough to not being eaten and would clean up the left over food? Thanks

Leftover food? There shouldn't be any. Adding another fish means adding more food which means more leftover food and more poop. Just feed less. Keep your fish hungry so they eat all of the food. I feed my adult fish only once every other day.
