What do you think of Black Beauty substrate?

I just bought some for my 55 gallon. I've heard mixed reviews on it. All I know is it looks freakin beautiful.

What do you guys think?

I believe it has Iron in it, so it's not Inert. I think it's pretty sharp also so be careful with fish who like to burrow. It does look good tho.

^^ correct, it is actually a iron slag used for sand blasting media and mixing with other bases/epoxys/resins.....to add a black color and or a non-skid texture.
