what do you think of koi feeders

hey everyone a lfs has small koi feeder (i have used them befor ) but i wanted to know will these be alright to feed my bass
they are eating bloodworms and some pellets
but i think fish need to eat other fish
also my bass are 12cm ay what size do the start to really colour up

about 24 cm they will start to show brilliant colors.. And 36 cm they will show you some totally awesome colors

Best feeders in my opinion are other cichlids.. But I fed Goldfish for quite awhile. My Cichla really brought out the color guins when I started feeding cichlids...
