how do you sex these guys i got two of them in with my flowerhorn fry in the 180 thought i would give it a shot i can put them in my 55 or 65 if it does not works seems all good so far but the other one i have the colors are kind of drab

The one you posted looks male.Males will be better colored,longer dorsal fin that trail back towards the tail fin more.Usually have a longer body shape.Females will be more plump in shape (rounder), often a bit darker in the body and less attractive

Post pics of both and I am sure you will get an answer.

Only Flowerhorns have kok's. The lump on any other cichlid is called a nuchal bump.
