What do you think of this bulb?

6000 kelvin (k)

I'm thinking of a hood with 6 of these. I'm asking because these bulbs are super cheap (5 dollars)... Seems not right. These are like basic Osrams. One thing that could be a problem is that the color spectrum just says "red".

If it is 90cm, then that bulb is not all that powerful! The average T8 18'' bulb has a kelvin of approx. 7,000 to 8,000... Though the bulb's wattage is Ok... Can't comment on lumens...

For 5 dollars, it's worth it!

wattage=power
kelvin is only the color temperature

It's T5. It is not an aquarium light, but seems to possess the qaulities of one.
